We help plan, design, facilitate, and lead slow motion experiences. Rooted in the principles of slowing down and deep listening, the Institute emphasizes sustainable, mindful engagement with local communities and ecosystems—being FAB.
Forage and Feast: Our guided foraging trips for mushrooms, plants, seaweed, salt, and shellfish immerse participants in the local environments through sensory experiences of looking, listening, tasting, feeling, and smelling.
Attune to the Flow: Extraordinary adventures reveal themselves when we slow down and truly look and listen. By tuning into the natural rhythms of tides, winds, rain, and seasons—we begin to understand the cycles that shape the world around us.
Be Relational: We collaborate and build relationships with local experts, food producers, businesses, and environmental organizations to design educational experiences.
